Chris Kreider Agrees to Terms with New York Rangers

For the second time in his NHL career, Chris Kreider has narrowly avoided salary arbitration. Kreider, who has spent his entire professional career with the Rangers organization, reportedly signed a four year contract with New York. Details regarding the contract have not been released, but CBC is reporting that he will earn $18.5 million over four seasons.

Kreider has played two full seasons in with the Rangers after splitting time between the NHL and AHL for two years. Kreider had his best offensive season in 2014-15, scoring 21 goals and recording 25 assists. His numbers were only slightly lower last season - he scored 21 goals again and picked up 22 assists.
