CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston college sophomore golfer Christian Cavaliere and the women's rowing second varsity eight boat have been named Nissan Eagles of the Week for their outstanding performances over the week.
Cavaliere was the individual medalist at the Clemson Invitational, firing a 6-under total of 210 for the tournament at The Cliffs at Keowee Falls in Salem, S.C. The Katonah, N.Y. native closed out the championship on Saturday with a 1-under 71, posting four birdies during his final round. He was the tournament leader in par 4 scoring, averaging 3.83 strokes per hole and he played the par 4 holes to 4-under par for the entire weekend.
