Cleveland Cavaliers star J.R. Smith has shared a joyful update on his baby girl, Dakota, who was born five months before her due date.
Tiny Dakota weighed just one pound when Smith and his wife, Jewel Harris, welcomed Dakota at 17 weeks back in January. But the preemie has since made tremendous progress, and her proud papa posted on social media to share the good news.
“Our baby has made it to 6lbs today!!! #mykotabear #kotastrong #daddysgirl,” he wrote on Instagram.
Smith and Harris, who have been married since last August, shared news of Dakota’s early birth in a video posted to Uninterrupted on Jan.
