It finally seemed like the offseason was settling down. The only real move left to happen was the New York Knicks sending away Carmelo Anthony, but the league has been prepared for that.
Then rumors started to swirl around that Derrick Rose was considering to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers. As soon as this broke, I began to question it. Rose was a peculiar fit. He isn’t a good outside shooter (21.7% from 3), he’s not a great distributor (22.8 assist percentage, 4.4 APG) and he’s an average defender at best.
