Keyed by Isaiah Thomas’ 33 points, Celtics draw even with Bulls

CHICAGO — There has been an Isaiah Thomas watch since his sister’s death, with every bit of body language, every grimace and every smile dissected.

But there was no disputing Thomas’ unsinkable ability to dominate a game last night, with the result a 104-95 Celtics win against the Chicago Bulls, evening their first-round series at 2-2. A series in which the home team has yet to win a game.

“I can’t believe it,” coach Brad Stevens said of what he has seen from Thomas since he received the news the day before Game 1. “What he’s been through and the day-to-day, it’s unfathomable the way he’s performed on the court.
