Any time the best player on a team announces that he had surgery done there will naturally be concern from the fan base. Isaiah Thomas dealt with an injury at the end of last season and coupling that with the recent news that he had undergone a procedure is not the kind of thing Boston Celtics fans want to be hearing, especially after they failed to sign another top scorer in free agency.
Fortunately, this is one of those times where you can rest easy as Thomas’ hand surgery was both expected and will have no residual effects.
