The athletic 2021 #19 overall pick of the Charlotte Hornets ends his two year career there in a unique fashion for sure. Kai Jones has had a rather irratic offseason on social media and the Hornets have decided to cut him loose. If it's a mental illness he's dealing with, I hope he gets the help he needs.
Assuming Jones can get his life back in order the 22 year old big man would make a solid signing for another NBA team. With Robert Williams no longer on the Celtics, I wouldn't mind seeing the 6'11" Jones take his place as the team's uber athletic big.
