Avery Bradley turns 26 in November, but probably feels a lot older this week with the news that Kevin Garnett is retiring, and Paul Pierce decided to play one more season.
Pierce, the aging Clipper and former Celtic, made his announcement yesterday in The Players’ Tribune, and Bradley’s heart skipped a beat.
“I’m going to be sad but happy at the same time, just like I was for KG,” Bradley said during yesterday’s media day. “I’m sad because we’re all going to miss them, the game’s going to miss them because we appreciate them so much.
