For the first time since 2007, a Celtics player will take part in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest.
Following a few days of speculation, Celtics star wing Jaylen Brown will officially take part in the 2024 showcase during the NBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis from Feb. 16-18.
Brown will compete against a field that also features reigning contest champion Mac McClung (Orlando Magic), Jacob Toppin (New York Knicks), and Jaime Jacquez Jr. (Miami Heat).
Brown, who was named an NBA All-Star for the third time last week, is set to bring some star power back to the gravity-defying event.
