Celtics Hold On For 104-95 Win Over Bulls, Even Series 2-2

A home team has yet to win a game in this series, and the Boston Celtics made sure that trend continued tonight.

Led by 33 points from Isaiah Thomas, Boston trailed for just 15 seconds in the game to even the series with a 104-95 win over the Chicago Bulls.

The Celtics built a 20-point lead in the first half and appeared to be on their way to an easy victory, but the Bulls came to life in the third quarter. They started the second half on a 19-6 run to take a two-point lead, and it looked like the TNT Bulls were ready to strike again.

However, Boston immediately ripped off 12 unanswered points to regain control of the game. Chicago never managed to get within five points from that moment on.

Gerald Green thrived in the starting lineup for the Celtics, scoring a playoff career-high 18 points. Al Horford also had a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds.

Jimmy Butler finished with 33 points and nine assists for the Bulls, but everyone else on the team struggled. Nikola Mirotic (13 points) and Dwyane Wade (11 points) were the only other starters who scored in double figures.

Game 5 of the series will be in Boston on Wednesday on TNT. Tip-off time has not been set.
