Chat New England Podcast, Episode 5: The Gift of Wood.

On today's episode, Babcock and I congratulate each other on reaching the 5 episode milestone (for which a wooden gift is traditionally given), discuss the twitter habits of professional athletes, and predict what type of impact Kim Kardashian's upcoming nuptials might have on the Atlantic Division.  Then, at the 19 minute mark, when you're about ready to turn us off and never listen again, we'll delve deeply into the first two games of these NBA Finals.

Why do so many fans feel that game 1 was an "ugly game"?  What did the Mavs do differently in game 2 that helped them to be more successful?  How should the Heat be defending Dirk from this point forward?  Why is the Mavs bench less of a factor than it has been in the previous 3 series?  Why do people think it took Dwyane Wade leaving his hands in the air after a three to wake up Dallas?  Did the Mavs win this in the last seven minutes, or did the Heat choke?  How much of this blame should go to Erik Spoelstra?  These are some of the questions we'll hit for you today.

Here is this week's humble offering:

One correction: The Mavs had called a full time out after Chalmers three.  So, Spo did get a chance to change his lineup by subbing Haslem.  However, our belief that this was a botched defensive possession stands.  Haslem should have been on Dirk.

Your intro song is "The Mountain" by the Heartless Bastards.  Your closing number is "Rocket Queen" by Guns n Roses (if you need me to link them up, you're probably too young to listen to this show).
