Celtics Notebook: Celtics getting outworked according to Avery Bradley

Avery Bradley was one season ahead of Tristan Thompson both in high school (Findlay Prep) and at the University of Texas, so the Celtics guard knows all about the Cavaliers forward’s hunger for rebounding.

Bradley just wishes that Thompson’s 4.7 offensive rebounding average in this first-round series wasn’t knocking the life out of his Celtics.

“A guy like Tristan Thompson wants to win it more than us, to be honest,” Bradley said after yesterday’s practice. “He’s making huge plays for those guys. He’s getting (offensive) rebounds, and giving them second opportunities. It’s boxing out, but it’s also wanting the ball and doing whatever it takes to win.
