The Raptors ended the season as the top seed in the Eastern Conference with a record of 59-23 after an incredible season from DeMar DeRozan. A change in offensive focus by head coach Dwane Casey allowed the team to reach new heights and hopefully avoid another disappointing playoff exit.
The Wizards ended their season in turmoil as the players started calling each other out in the press. They ended as the 8-seed in the East with a 43-39 with John Wall finally returning for the last 10 games of the season.
