Despite being a jump shooting team, the Boston Celtics struggled shooting the three ball a season ago. The problems get amplified considering how dependant the Celtics are on the three ball. The Celtics were 27th in three point percentage at 32.7% while being 13th in attempts per game at 24.6.
The Celtics cannot afford to continue to take this many threes while being so ineffective at finishing them. The Celtics had plenty of players disappoint tremendously beyond the three point line last year. Evan turner and Jared Sullinger both shot below 30% and many others lurked around similar marks.
