After a successful 2-1 road trip, the Bruins return home Thursday night for their home opener in what is the first of three straight at TD Garden. After returning to practice yesterday, Patrice Bergeron will make his 2016-17 season debut. Bergeron has missed the Bruins’ first three games with a lower-body injury.
New Jersey has won just once in its three contests thus far and is coming off of a 2-1 victory Tuesday night against the Anaheim Ducks. The Devils have had some issues putting the puck in the net as they have scored just five times in three games.
