Bruins riding momentum both at and away from TD Garden

Last season TD Garden was a house of horrors for the Boston Bruins. Going 17-18-6 at home, the Bruins knew they needed to be better on home ice in 2016-17 in order to return to the postseason after a two-year absence.

With Claude Julien behind the Bruins’ bench, much did not change in regards to their home ice advantage, or lack thereof. In 25 home games under Julien this season, the Bruins went 12-13, earning 24 of a possible 50 points. Since interim head coach Bruce Cassidy took over for Julien, the Bruins are 4-0 at home, outscoring opponents 18-7 in that span.
