Boston Bruins: Torey Krug Likely To Miss Start Of 2016-17 Season

The Boston Bruins entered the offseason with three players requiring surgery. Fast forward a few weeks, and Torey Krug, David Krejci, and Matt Beleskey have all reportedly undergone successful surgery per the Bruins’ official website.

Torey Krug‘s surgery was required to fix an ailing right shoulder injury and it was done on April 21st 2016. The recovery time for his injury is expected to be six months which would put his availability for the start of the season in doubt. The season is set to start in early October, while Torey Krug is likely to be out until late October if this timeline is to be followed accordingly.
