Pretty good hire. A good mixture of local knowledge (played in Idaho Falls), MLB experience (he was a pro scout), and winning (played for the Boise State football team). Kind of a Jack of All Trades. Good to see him aboard.

Two months after he was hired, Boise State confirms/announces Tim Duryea as assistant coach to Leon Rice. The wait had to do with his contract situation at Utah State, but he’s been recruiting, coaching, etc.
