Having come off a bye and the Broncos going three and out on the first series didn’t bode well for the visiting team. In fact, letting the Colorado State TIGHT ENDS have more receiving yards in the first quarter than the entire team combined is somewhat of a suboptimal play.
BUT that just makes the eventual ending that much sweeter.
The Broncos were able to score late in the second quarter to get into the half without getting shut out.
