Dallas Cowboy, ex-Boise State player, gives $15,000 to high school for new uniforms

Former Boise State defensive back Orlando Scandrick sometimes says Los Alamitos High as the school he’s from on nationally-televised games when most cite their college.

That has rankled a few Bronco fans, though he does say “Boise State” on occasion, too. This week, the Dallas Cowboys cornerback showed even more love for his high school, located near Long Beach, Calif.

Scandrick gave $15,000 for new uniforms and helmets for the Griffins, with their new red matte alternates featuring the logo of his 32Cares Foundation.
