NEW YORK – Providence forward Rodney Bullock has been named BIG EAST Player of the Week after leading the Friars to a pair of wins, including a 63-60 victory against nationally-ranked Rhode Island. Creighton center Justin Patton has been selected BIG EAST Freshman of the Week for a second straight week.

Bullock averaged 26.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in a 2-0 week that included a 63-60 win over No. 21/25 Rhode Island. He started the week with a career-high 36 points in a 76-62 win against New Hampshire.
