Georgetown Maintains Lead After Day Two Of Women's Golf

CALLAWASSIE ISLAND, S.C. – Georgetown continued to lead after the second day of competition at the 2017 BIG EAST Women’s Golf Championship Presented by Jeep at the Callawassie Island Golf Club. Individually, Seton Hall junior Cassie Pantelas maintained her first-place position with a two-over-par 74 for a two-round score of 145 (+1). She shot 74 on Saturday after a 71 in the first round.

Georgetown has compiled a two-day team score of 599 (+23), eight strokes ahead of Butler at 607. The Bulldogs had the best team score of the day with a 10-over-par 298 and moved into second place.
