Former Georgetown forward Akoy Agau transfers to SMU

The former Georgetown Hoyas forward made the decision on Saturday to transfer out to the Dallas-based university after playing one year in D.C. for the Hoyas. The transfer news was first reported by the Omaha World-Herald.

Agau averaged 4.5 points and 4.2 rebounds per game while shooting 50 percent from the field with the Hoyas in 2016. He played in 32 games, averaging 15 minutes per contest and attained a season-high 14 points in a win over the Howard Bison on November 27, 2016.
