1. How will the Cyclones use Joel Lanning?
Lanning represented one of the most solid answers for Iowa State one year ago as the incumbent starter at quarterback. And he held the position for the first eight games of 2016. But change loomed early as Jacob Park earned playing time in September and took over the starting job for the final third of the season.
