Q&A: Iowa State WR Allen Lazard

Though it hasn't translated into victories yet, Iowa State (1-6) quietly has made dramatic improvement since its season-opening loss to Northern Iowa. Their last three games, the Cyclones have led Baylor, Oklahoma State and Texas in the second half before capitulating late.

One of the drivers for Iowa State's turnaround has been Allen Lazard, who has emerged into one of the top wide receivers in the Big 12.

As the Cyclones prepare to play K-State, Lazard spoke to ESPN.com about playing for new coach Matt Campbell, Iowa State's two-quarterback system and all the points being scored in the conference this year:
