The NFL scouting combine is finally here and a pair of Baylor Bears could leap onto some team's radars.
In The Athletic's list of the 12 biggest athletic freaks to watch at the scouting combine, Baylor cornerback Derrek Thomas and wide receiver Jalen Hurd cracked the list.
Thomas, a 6-3, 296-pound cornerback who had 21 tackles, an interception and a team-high seven passes defended in 2018. According to The Athletic's report, Baylor coach Matt Rhule said Thomas may have a vertical jump 40 inches and could run a 4.4 in the 40-yard dash.
