Texas dominated the Phillips 66 All-Big 12 Conference women's basketball awards. Karen Aston was voted the coach of the year, junior guard Brooke McCarty was named player of the year, Brianna Taylor was the defensive player of the year and Joyner Holmes was named the freshman of the year
Flower Mound's Lauren Cox of Baylor was chosen for the sixth man award, and Kansas' Jessica Washington was named newcomer of the year.
Aston led Texas to a 15-3 record in Big 12 play and 22-7 overall.
