Unless you’re incredibly plugged into the coaching carousel scene (and I mean so plugged in that you’re Mack Rhoades), I doubt you expected Matt Rhule to be named the next head coach of Baylor University. Names like Fedora, Dykes, Morris, Fleck, and others flew around frequently over the past 10 days or so, but outside of a side mention here or there, Matt Rhule wasn’t really considered the prime candidate for the job... Until he was the coach.
