New Baylor AD Mack Rhoades explains why he wanted to take on challenge at Baylor

New Baylor athletic director Mack Rhoades glanced up and down at a sheet of paper marked "confidential", talked of change and introduced his family during his introductory press conference.

The 50-year-old pointed to his wife and three daughters sitting in the first row when describing his motivation to change a culture and fix a program reeling from mishandled sexual assault cases.

Many speculated why he wanted to take on the restoration project less than two years after he took over at Missouri.

"My dad told you never run from a place, you run to a place," Rhoades said at Big 12 media days Monday .
