On the promotion of Joey McGuire to assistant head coach replacing Fran Brown, who returned to Temple: "For me, the assistant head coach position is an important one. Francis was our assistant head coach. He handled discipline that didn't raise to my level. He handled players. I couldn't think of anyone better to do that Joey McGuire. There's no one that has a more infectious personality. There's no one has an impact on more players on our team.
