Baylor (16-8, 7-4 Big 12) got a much-needed win to stay in the hunt for the Big 12's top seed with a 59-53 win over Oklahoma (15-10, 3-9) on Monday in Waco.
Here are three takeaways from the Bears' win:
Baylor survives Oklahoma's hot-shooting first half
To escape out of the first half with the game tied was a win in itself for Baylor.
Oklahoma shot 48 percent from the floor in the first half and that percentage would've ticked closer to 50 if not for a 3-point buzzer-beater from the Sooners coming a second too late.
