Forget the streak dinner. That isn’t good enough for cornerback Jimmy Smith anymore.
After watching the tape of his nullified 101-yard pick-six in Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Smith is increasing his demands of outside linebacker Courtney Upshaw.
Upshaw lined up in the neutral zone, drawing a yellow flag that wiped off the touchdown. Upshaw offered Smith “whatever you like” in the locker room afterwards, but hasn’t settled the matter yet.
“I thought I wanted a steak dinner, but after I re-watched the play, I think I needed more,” Smith said with a laugh.
