Ravens wide receiver Breshad Perriman's rookie season ended before it even started last year.
Perriman, the Ravens first round pick in 2015, was in a position to start alongside Steve Smith Sr. last year.
That changed after what at first appeared to be a minor knee injury on the first day of training camp. Perriman's knee was slow to respond to treatment and he was eventually lost for the year with a torn PCL.
The season-ending injury was just one of several setbacks Perriman has dealt with in the past year.
First Perriman's friend and Ravens teammate cornerback Tray Walker died in a dirt bike accident in March.
