After Dennis Pitta's third injury to his right hip in organized team activities last week, the Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday released the veteran tight end with an injury waiver.

Pitta dislocated his hip during a non-contact exercise.
Pitta suffered a dislocated and fractured right hip in training camp in 2013, and didn't return until week 14 of that year. Early the following season, he dislocated it again, and wasn't medically cleared to play at all in 2015.
