OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- The Baltimore Ravens activated defensive end Brent Urban from the injured reserve-designated for return list Friday and placed running back Justin Forsett on injured reserve.
Forsett, who broke his right arm last Sunday, becomes the fifth season-opening starter to end up on IR this season for the Ravens. The others are quarterback Joe Flacco (knee), wide receiver Steve Smith (Achilles), linebacker Terrell Suggs (Achilles) and center Jeremy Zuttah (pectoral muscle).
Since joining the Ravens last season, Forsett gained 1,907 yards rushing, the fourth-most in the NFL over that span.
