The York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office in Virginia confirmed the 28-year-old died, but they are not releasing his cause of death. Police said they were called to a home for someone needing medical attention.
Police said Taliaferro died at a local hospital.
Taliaferro was drafted by the Ravens in 2014 and played for them until 2017.
