Breshad Perriman vows to play in Ravens' opener, says 'it'll be worth the wait'

OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Wide receiver Breshad Perriman hasn't played a preseason or regular-season game since being drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the first round 16 months ago.

But, after completing his first practice this summer, Perriman vowed to be ready in 19 days for the Ravens' Sept. 11 season opener against the Buffalo Bills.

"I have no doubt in my mind that I [will be ready]," Perriman said Tuesday. "I'm attacking it right now like I will be ready, and I think I will."

Nine months ago, Perriman acknowledged that the season-ending injury to his right knee left him in a self-described "dark hole.
