Good Morning, Birdland!
The Orioles have been unquestionably hot as of late. Their 4-2 win on Friday night made them winners of six out of their last seven and eight of their last 10. They are atop the AL East by half a game and possess the best record on the junior circuit.
The only concern that has popped up recently is the performance of Craig Kimbrel. The team’s closer fell apart in a series against the Oakland Athletics in late April, and hasn’t looked right ever since. Mixed in there was a back injury that did not require an IL stint, but it certainly hasn’t helped matters.
