Orioles minor league report: Bowie's John Means off to another strong start

Triple-A Norfolk

He hasn't yet parlayed his attention-grabbing spring into a major league call-up, but reliever Jimmy Yacabonis is certainly doing his part. The 25-year-old right-hander pitched 10 1/3 scoreless innings over his first eight outings, striking out six and allowing just three hits and one walk. Yacabonis, like fellow young reliever Stefan Crichton, cemented himself on the big league radar with a good spring despite not being in camp.

Double-A Bowie

Left-hander John Means is off to another great start, just as he was last season.
