Orioles minor league recap 5/9: D.J. Stewart drives in seven runs in two-home-run performance

It was the D.J. Stewart show at Harbor Park. The outfielder hit two home runs: a three-run shot in the fourth inning and a grand slam in the sixth inning. All told, Stewart had three hits, one walk and seven RBI.

Anthony Santander also went deep, a solo shot, as part of a 2-for-5 performance. Cedric Mullins went 1-for-5. Ryan Mountcastle took an 0-for-4. And Chance Sisco had a single, a walk and two runs scored in three at-bats.

The Tides needed just two pitchers to win this game. Lefty Luis Ysla started and put forth a “quality start” of six innings and three runs allowed on five hits, three walks and four strikeouts.
