Orioles minor league recap 5/17: Jackson Holliday gets Mike Elias’s attention, Coby Mayo exits early

Jackson Holliday drove in the tying run with a double in the eighth, but Lehigh Valley struck for two more in the ninth. Bryan Baker allowed a solo homer and another run on a two-out single. The rough inning brought Baker’s ERA to 8.78 over 14 games.

Holliday did his best Jordan Westburg impression with a leadoff homer. Holliday finished 2-for-5 with the pair of extra-base hits, and he quickly gained the attention of a familiar face in the stands.
