Jayson Aquino pitched five innings of one-run ball to pick up the win for Norfolk. The lefty (1-2) allowed only two hits and struck out four IronPigs. Aquino did walk four hitters, and allowed his only run in the second inning after a walk, single and sacrifice fly.
Joey Rickard finished 3-for-5 and scored twice. The former Rule-5 pick doubled and came around to score on a Michael Saunders single in the second inning. Rickard also made a phenomenal diving catch in left-center field to limit the damage in the top of the second.
