Orioles Manager Brandon Hyde talks Gibson addition, successful season

The Baltimore Orioles are in San Diego for the league's annual winter meetings and manager Brandon Hyde spoke with WBAL NewsRadio about the latest news surrounding the team.

The Orioles signed right-handed pitcher Kyle Gibson to a one-year, $10 million contract. When asked about the potential role of Gibson on the team, Hyde said the addition of the veteran will be key for the young pitching staff.

"We don't have a ton of experience in our rotation," Hyde said. So to be able to add a veteran guy, setup for a long time, just been part of a World Series team.
