ANAHEIM-- Yovani Gallardo is progressing in his shoulder rehabilitation and will throw a bullpen session Sunday morning at Angel Stadium, Orioles manager Buck Showalter said Friday.
The bullpen will be the first time Gallardo -- on the 15-day disabled list with right shoulder tendinitis -- has thrown off a mound since he left an April 22 start at Kansas City. He's been increasing his throwing progressions since beginning a throwing program on Saturday.
"He's moving real good now," Showalter said. "He's moving along good. You can just tell in his face walking around, he feels good about where he is.
