BALTIMORE -- With under 24 hours before Friday's 4 p.m. ET Trade Deadline, Orioles manager Buck Showalter said Thursday he thinks Baltimore could pull off a deal.
"If you told me to bet on which side of it, I'll pick it 51-49," Showalter said of the O's making a move. "[General manager] Dan [Duquette] has bumped some things around that's going on. I'm sure it's pretty hot and heavy, there's been some guys that have gone that we talked about, but if I told you who they were asking for you would say, 'Of course you won't do that.
