O's go on offensive to surge past Marlins, 8-5

The Orioles received a subpar performance from starter Ubaldo Jimenez, made a key defensive lapse early on and needed an error on a rare two-strike bunt to jumpstart the offense Friday night.

And still they won 8-5 in their first appearance in club history at Marlins Park.

Fortunately for the Orioles, the 4-year-old stadium is the home of the suddenly hapless Miami Marlins, who have dropped eight straight and have yet to win in five games for new manager Dan Jennings.

The Orioles (19-20) again weren't crisp, but have now won four of their past five.
