Upon rejoining the Orioles this weekend, second baseman Jonathan Schoop joked that he had been wasting too many homers while on his rehab assignment in the minor leagues.
Schoop -- who had been on the disabled list for the past 11 weeks with a right knee injury before he was activated prior to Sunday’s series finale against the White Sox – had hit four homers in the last six games of his rehab in the minors.
And just two pitches into his first at-bat off the DL on Sunday afternoon, Schoop homered into the left-center field seats of U.
