MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State women's tennis team continues to remain atop of the Mid-American Conference after its 6-1 win over Eastern Michigan Friday afternoon at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center. With the win, the Cardinals improved their overall ledger to 17-2 and 5-0 in league play while the Eagles fall to 6-13 for the year and 1-3 in conference action.
The No. 3 doubles tandem of Toni Ormond and Isabelle Dohanics were the first off the court for the Cardinals in doubles action. The twosome earned a dominating 6-1 victory over Eastern Michigan's Alejandra Barcelo and Renu Sharma.
