QUINCY, Ill. – The No. 12 Ball State men's volleyball team continued conference play at Quincy Saturday night and swept the Hawks, 3-0 (25-18, 25-14, 25-17).
Ball State knocked down 45 total kills for a .506 hitting percentage. The Cardinals also had 10 block assists and three solo blocks on the night.
Freshman Matt Szews put up a powerful performance leading the Cardinals with 16 kills for a .577 hitting percentage. Szews added a team high four service aces and four digs. Matt Walsh also had a big night with nine kills, three block assists and one solo block.
