KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The No. 5 Ball State men's tennis team took down No. 4 Toledo by a score of 4-0 in the Mid-American Conference Tournament quarterfinals Friday afternoon at the West Hills Athletic Club. With the win, the Cardinals improved to 11-12 overall and will advance to the semifinals where Ball State will take on No. 1 Western Michigan at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Saturday's semifinal round will be a rematch of the 2016 MAC Tournament when the Cardinals faced the Broncos on the campus of Northern Illinois. Ball State lost that match 4-0 that season.
